Beijing YouAn Home of Loving Care was founded in 1998. After about 20 years’development, it has made great contributions to public education on AIDS, providing supports for AIDS infected people and patients and so on, and has discovered the early-stage mobilized detecting mode of high-risk group and created a “one-stop” service mode; it also has taken positive efforts to improve living quality of AIDS infected people, reduce discrimination, lower the spread of HIV, etc. In 2012, approved by Beijing Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning and Department of Civil Affairs in Beijing, it was officially registered as a NGO, which is equipped with a complete corporate governance structure and a perfect internal control system and democratic supervision system, as well as a healthy financial management, financial accounting and assets management system and has the capacity to issue tax invoice. Additionally, based on Beijing YouAn Hospital (a comprehensive medical center focusing on infection and infectious disease as key subjects), Beijing YouAn Home of Loving Care has set up a platform combining AIDS care with interaction, a platform for AIDS scientific research innovation and a platform for international communication.

Working Feature

“One-stop” service: after decades’ exploration, Beijing YouAn Home of Loving Care provides “one-stop” service including consultation, detection, follow-up, training, etc. for AIDS susceptible groups, which now has been a good example in Beijing city.

Cultivation Base

As an excellent organization in AIDS field, Beijing YouAn Home of Loving Care has become a cultivation base which provides capital escrow, professional guidance, capacity construction and other supports for Tianyuan Studio, Ark of Love, Create a Brilliant Future Together, China Rainbow Health Center, The Shining Jazzy Chorus and other CBO working groups.

Voluntary Service

In 2009, Beijing YouAn Home of Loving Care became the practice base of “Youth Red Ribbon in Capital Colleges and Universities” which has created a platform for college students to study and understand AIDS prevention knowledge, and has collected more than onethousand student volunteers.
