Flow of hospitalization for general outpatients:

1. To hospitalize, the patient shall create an outpatient medical record. The outpatient completes the general items, and the outpatient doctor writes the outpatient medical record. Then the hospitalization formalities can be executed.
Concrete procedure:   
Create the outpatient medical record → pay the hospitalization deposit→ sign agreement→ ward

2. New hospitalized patients shall be received in the ward warmly. The on-duty nurse shall introduce the hospitalization rules, ward environment, and relevant precautions, and report to the doctor to give timely examination, diagnosis and treatment.

3. Subject to the agreement, the patient shall not present any covert cash gift or material object to the doctors and nurses, or treat them.

4. The Hospital prohibits any individual or department from promoting medicine and/or healthcare products to the patients, prohibits any individual or department from collecting examination charges, treatment charges, materials costs from the patients. The Hospital’s formal invoice shall be issued for all charges.

5. The Hospital launches the complaint hotline. Complaints are welcome in the case of any violation. After the violation is verified, the informer will be rewarded. Patients are welcome to cooperate and supervise us.

6. The Hospital’s economic management department hospitalization division is responsible for the settlement of the patients’ hospitalization examination, medicine, and treatment expenses.  

Flow of hospitalization for outpatients participating in medical insurance program:  

1. Show your Citizen Card or Beijing Medical Insurance Manual when you see a doctor.

2. If you see a doctor in our hospital for the first time, you must create a medical record. For each further consultation, you must carry your medical record, and the doctor must record the state of illness, medicine applied, examination and treatment according to the facts.   

3. Use the special prescription for medical insurance when medicines applied in the medical insurance range are prescribed. Double prescription and double price are required for blue prescriptions. Every kind of medicine shall have price. No special prescription for medical insurance shall be used for self-financed medicines.  

4. For any large examinations, such as CT, gastroscopy, and application of one-off valuable instrument or one-off valuable materials, the treating doctor over the rank of associate professor of treatment shall complete the Special Examination, Treatment and Valuable Drug Approval Form in duplicate, with one copy kept in the medical record, and the other retained by the patient, which to be used for executing approval formalities with the hospital’s free medical service office when you apply for reimbursement, and your or your family’s signature is required.

5. You shall not take your medical record without consent. The Hospital’s case room maintains the medical records.

6. Fees incurred in outpatient service shall be paid fully.
