1. Register and notify emergency on-duty doctor of relevant department after the responsible nurse inquired the disease and confirmed the department to register. If the disease is complex and difficult to diagnose, it shall be subject to first-treatment department.
2. After examining the diagnosis, the doctor shall write down the examination result and treatment opinions.
3. The infectious patients shall go to isolation room to receive treatment.
4. The seriously and critically ill patients shall be notified the on-duty doctor for emergent treatment, and then go through the registration. In addition, they shall be specially accompanied and attended by nurses to observe the disease development.
5. The responsible nurse shall measure the patients’ temperature, when necessary, measure their breath, pulse and blood pressure (The critically ill patient has to be measured the blood pressure), the light patient may use armpit thermometer, the children, coma, anoia and eclampsia patients may use anus thermometer.
6. As for the critically ill patients who need to be salvaged, before the on-duty doctor arrived, the responsible nurse shall give an emergent treatment according to the condition, such as hemostasia, oxygen supply, artificial respiration, external chest compression and sputum suction, etc. or call other on-duty doctors to give a primary emergent treatment.
7. When necessary, the seriously ill patient shall be shifted to the emergency observation room.
