The Center of Intervention Treatment for Cancer of Liver and Gall, The You’an Hospital was formally founded in 2006. The center is on the basis of and supported by the departments of internal liver diseases and surgical liver diseases as well as artificial liver support system. The hospital invested RMB 15 millions to purchase advanced facilities, such as PHILIPS digital subtraction angiography, spiral CT made by GE and RITA radio frequency ablatograph. The center performs the modern management model to carry out intervention outpatient department, intervention patient wards, intervention operation rooms and intervention laboratory. The center actively carried out the technology of catheter chemoembolization for cancer of liver, CT directed radio frequency ablation and chemistry ablation, obstructive jaundice intervention operation, partial spleen embolization, portal hypertension TIPSS operation, intervention operations for hemangiomas of liver, liver metastasis tumor and syndrome of BU-JIA.
